About The Love Shack
The Love Shack is the home office for All You Need Is Love, Inc., a non-profit organization run by Executive Director Jill Sinklier and a group of volunteers. It is not associated with any church and though many of its volunteers are Christians, it is not in any way meant to replace church membership. It is an opportunity to give and receive selfless, unconditional love based on Matthew 22:37-40: Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
“The first time you come here, you’re our guest. After that, you’re family!”
Every citizen of Abernathy, aged 12-112, is invited to become a part of The Love Shack. As a member of The Love Shack, you will be a part of a family of people, related through our heavenly father, who love and take care of each other. As a member of this family, you can benefit from these relationships through receiving life education/coaching, biblical advice, friendships, and assistance when a physical need arises. In return you can offer the same to the family and its members. In this family we all give and we all receive out of love, not obligation. All are welcome to be a part of this family, and membership is FREE OF CHARGE!

ASP (After-School Program)
Population Served: 4th-8th Graders and High School Students
We work with the Kids Cafe program of the South Plains Food Bank to provide a snack for every student upon arrival.
The first 45 minutes each day are dedicated to education. We have tutors available to help students with homework. We have educational activities for students who do not have homework.
The last hour is dedicated to having fun while learning. We have lots of activities for the kids, through which we receive plenty of opportunities to teach them about life and love. Many of our lessons revolve around good sportsmanship, kindness, fairness, and being appropriate with our language, bodies, thoughts, and actions.
Summer Youth Program
Population Served: Incoming 4th Graders through High School Students
Attendees enjoy a variety of activities and field trips. In summers past, we visited Really’s Ranch Horse Rescue, South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and the Silent Wings Museam. We have also volunteered at the South Plains Food Bank farm, went swimming on several occasions, watched movies on Fridays, made and gave away cookies, and had a free car wash.
All attendees receive a snack before leaving provided by the South Plains Food Bank.
Youth Food Program/Summer Food Program
Population Served: Kids Eat Free Year-Round! All children old enough to eat through High School Seniors
Program Details: All children, ages one to eighteen, are invited to come and eat a hot meal for free. During the school year, meals are served at supper time immediately following the ASP. Summer meals are served at lunch prior to the Summer Youth Program. These meals are provided by the Kids Cafe program during the school year and the Summer Food program of the South Plains Food Bank. We also work with Abernathy ISD to provide the Summer Food Program.
The Swap Shop
Population Served: Anyone and everyone who thinks that swapping is a GREAT idea! Reduce, reuse, recycle is our motto!
Program Details: The Swap Shop provides an opportunity for all of us to understand what sharing really means. Members have the opportunity to donate and receive clothing, food, household items, personal items, and school supplies. Unlike traditional clothes closets and food pantries, our Swap Shop is for the entire community, regardless of socio-economic status. We invite everyone to come and swap with us, and the response has been phenomenal.
Population Served: This is a new program. Jill Sinklier is a Certified Life Coach, offering relationship coaching for married/engaged couples, families, friends, and singles.
Program Details: Our relationship coaching program explores what the bible tells us about how to make relationships into the beautiful blessings of life that God means for them to be. Participants will receive coaching based on biblical principles and real-life examples of how to improve their relationships through a process of introspection, education, and change.
